"Stirring the Cauldron" with Marla Brooks is all about the strong connection between paganism and the paranormal. Even though we claim to be an "enlightened society" there is still a certain onus when it comes to all things paranormal. Those of us who are in the field are certainly more accepting and aren't so quick to judge but there is one area in the paranormal realm that is still quite controversial and that is the subject of paganism and witchcraft. Many practitioners lay low and stay under the radar for fear of being labeled as more of a crackpot than those who believe in ghosts.
